Hanabi and Sabrei were once the same person. However when Sabrei went through the entrance ceremony for the magick academy, he cast out all aspects of his personality that “weakened” him. Due to an error in his spell those aspects became Hanabi. Repulsed by what happened both went their own ways, only to find that apart from each other they felt empty. Pride kept Sabrei from coming back. Fear of rejection kept Hanabi alone. Over the years Hanabi learned to bury himself in books and went from country to country, working in different libraries. It was in one of those libraries that he met Audrey and fell in love.

Personality:

Sabrei was born in the Italian Renaissance to a middle class family with too many mouths to feed. He left home at a young age to chase a rumor. Someone was teaching others how to use power within themselves to attain what they needed. Sabrei found the origin of the rumor and joined a secret school of magick. After passing his initiation and fracturing his personality into two separate bodies, Sabrei learned a dark truth: the power promised was necromancy, the control of death. Too late to turn back, Sabrei studied and eventually found the secret to immortality. A fight with his master led Sabrei to flee the school and go into hiding.

Personality: Sigmund was trained to be an advisor to human kings and emperors. Only a hundred years after completing his training, he went into hiding to avoid an elven genocide. When it was resolved, rather than resuming his duties he started wandering. He met Belzer in Antoria and decided to go with the man after hearing about the king’s dream of darkness in the future.
Sigmund enjoys interacting with regular people, but when faced with the nobility he does all he can to make their lives difficult. He says what he means and makes no attempt to hide his dislike of anything.

Personality: Rather than turning to a life of crime and suffering like his Fallen brethren, Moak took a different approach. After his powers were sealed by a priest from the NWCC, Moak used his good looks to make a name for himself in the world of high fashion. It was through such work that he met Greta, a human girl who stole what little heart he had left and reignited his passion for living. Through sheer luck, Greta happened to be the god-daughter of the priest who sealed away his powers. While he’s neither recovered his powers nor received Greta’s hand in marriage, Moak isn’t afraid of waiting and remains hopeful for the future.
